Cookie Policy

Effective date: July 23, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Emotely Labs, Inc. uses cookies, local storage, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies in connection with Emotely.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Local storage stores information in the browser. Similar technologies can recognize a browser, preserve a session, remember choices, measure use, or help another service function.

Some technologies are placed directly by Emotely, while others are provided by companies that support authentication, payments, infrastructure, analytics, and other product functions.

2. Strictly necessary technologies

We use necessary technologies to operate and secure Emotely, authenticate accounts, maintain sessions, route requests, prevent fraud, support checkout, and remember your privacy choice. The Service may not function correctly without them.

Necessary technologies may be provided by Emotely and vendors supporting application infrastructure, authentication, hosting, fraud prevention, and payment functionality, including Supabase and Stripe where their services are used.

3. Optional analytics and diagnostics

With your consent where required, we use PostHog analytics technologies to understand how visitors and users navigate Emotely, measure feature use, diagnose errors, and improve product flows. Depending on the enabled configuration, this may involve identifiers, device and browser information, approximate location, interactions, and diagnostic or session information.

We do not use optional analytics until you accept them through our cookie notice where consent is required. We do not use cookies for third-party cross-context behavioral advertising.

4. Checkout and embedded services

Embedded account, payment, fraud-prevention, or checkout components may set technologies necessary to deliver and secure the feature you request. For example, Stripe may use cookies or similar technologies when its payment components are displayed.

Third-party services govern their own technologies in accordance with their policies when acting independently.

5. Duration

Some technologies last only for the current browser session, while persistent technologies remain until their configured expiration or until you clear them. Duration varies based on purpose and provider and may change as we update the Service.

6. Managing your choices

You can accept or decline optional analytics through the Emotely cookie notice. You can also block or delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Clearing the stored preference may cause the notice to appear again.

Blocking necessary technologies may prevent login, checkout, or other parts of Emotely from working. Browser privacy signals are handled where required by applicable law; because Emotely does not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising, such signals may not change the operation of necessary technologies.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when our technologies, vendors, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version with an updated effective date and provide additional notice where required.
